Usain Bolt has insisted he isn?t a cheat, as the recent storm over failed drugs tests continues to haunt athletics.
Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson are among a number of athletes to fail recent tests ahead of the world championships in Russia next month.
Speaking in London ahead of this weekend?s Anniversary Games in London, Bolt said ?it?s going to set us back a bit,? adding that he hopes to ?help people forget what has happened? with his own performances.
He also stressed ?I am clean? as he prepares to return to the scene of last summer?s triple Olympic triumph.
The Jamaican said he has had one text-message exchange with compatriot Powell since the former 100 metres record-holder tested positive for the stimulant oxilofrone, and told him to ?stay strong?.
