DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- AAA Michigan says gasoline prices have jumped about 23 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $4.10 per gallon.
The auto club says Monday the average is about 47 cents per gallon more than this time last year.
AAA Michigan says prices increased following lingering issues at several Midwest refineries, including one in Joliet, Ill., that was offline. The average Michigan price Sunday was $4.06 per gallon, the first time since Sept. 18 that the state was above $4 a gallon.
Of the cities it surveys, Dearborn-based AAA Michigan says the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel is in the Marquette area, where it's about $4.03 a gallon. The highest average is in the Flint, Grand Rapids and Lansing areas at about $4.14.
