New parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be fans of TV Supernanny Jo Frost.
The childcare expert, who has written three books on raising kids, said she was ?so pleased? to discover William and Kate had been swotting up on parenthood by watching her show.
But Jo, whose measures include a naughty step for unruly tots, believes the royals will not need much help as they are a ?wonderful modern family?.
She says they could avoid many of the piftalls of parenthood simply by talking to each other.
Jo, 42, who currently presents Family SOS With Jo Frost on US cable channel TLC, said Wills and Kate could set an example to other families around the world. She told At Home magazine: ?I was so pleased to hear they were fans of mine.
?The first piece of advice, as new parents, would be to communicate with each other about how they want the child raised and how they?ll raise it?

?The first piece of advice, as new parents, would be to communicate with each other about how they want the child raised and how they?ll raise it.
?They?ve probably already done this, but the immediate childcare will be extremely important.
?As young, modern royals, they will have a beautiful foundation for bringing this child up, a combination of royal protocol and classic child-rearing.
?And they both come from very good stock.?
In the mag, which Jo guest-edits, she gives out lots of advice for first-time mums like Kate.
She says: ?I support breast-feeding but not to the extent of making bottle-feeding parents feel they should be banished off the face of the Earth.
?Whatever decision you make is the right one for you.
?Your baby is not meant to be living by a rigid schedule from day one.
?When you do things you love, it brings much to your parenting.?
