Step One ? Clean Up And Organize Your Contact List

There will be some people on your list that you will want to ?touch? every month, while there are others you will contact quarterly or whatever time period you deem necessary.? The key is to do marketing that appeals to the people on your various lists.

Step Two ? Determine What Your Marketing Will Be

Go month by month and determine what you will give/mail to the contacts on your list.? Some items may be more generic than others.? For example, in January you may send out New Year?s cards to the majority of people on your list, but in May you only mail out Mother?s Day cards.? Again, you want to do marketing activities that will appeal to the people on your list.

Step Three ? Write Down Who Gets What

Under each month, write the marketing activity, then write the name and address of each person you intend to ?touch? that month.? By doing this, you will have all of the information you need to complete the task.? You will know how many Mother?s Day cards to buy and have the mailing addresses right in front of you?eliminating the excuse of not having the time to look up all of the addresses.

Just by following these 3 easy steps,? your marketing plan ready to go.? So when you do get super busy, you don?t have to think about what you will do.? All you need to do is count out the number of cards or items you need and send them out.? Or, give the list to your virtual assistant, thereby keeping your pipeline full.?
